still makes me laugh that the ST fanclub make out their sandpit is perfect, but the NZV8 sandpit is empty, and if anyone was to disturb or argue perfection on the previous sand, they are to be shot down or torn to bits. funny thing is though, why is the fanclub arguing with themselves if the other sand pit is empty?? ego-tripping or multiple personalities nah, too blurry windy for that. |

i heard(but could be wrong) that the circuits will run the events this summer with a small(like 1x person) from MNZ to help co-ordinate with sponsors and other bits and pieces....plan to have outside promo company on board for 2013/4 season.....

Clubs ran with their own officials and set their own schedules etc. Even in the days of Global Sports & Promotions and the early days of TMC they did not organise all the fields that were competing in those series and the clubs still ran the meetings It worked well before everyone wanted to become "professional" |

And I sure Rev will happily admit he got it wrong.
It was said by NZST ( from memory), calling on his many years of chassis construction and welding knowledge. I too find all the ST fanboys so similar that I mix them up sometimes. |

I am told that Lada have now been banned from competing in the up and coming NZV8 series. What I have been told is that a standard straight off the factory floor Lada 1600cc, without any racing mod's, or so they say, was lapping Ruapuna 2 seconds a lap quicker than Tullocks new NZV8. I will have to talk to Joe and find out more about the Mig16 steering system, as I am sure I saw something similar in the Lada at Ruapuna. Joe told me once that he gave Nikita Khrushchev a piece of his mind a few years back, so I am sure he would have more info on the subject than me. Maxi, the reason for me being a little concerned about this information being correct, is that I didn't think Lade were interested in racing a works team here. To me the lap time information is the only believable part to this information and which could be remotely true. I think it also answers a lot of unanswered questions, on how fast the new NZV8's will be and what lap times we can expect. How's the fishing going, loose all your hooks did you. |
