Two cars were supposed to be being built in 2015, but I don't think saw the light of day.http://www.ldmotorsport.com.au/ldm-r...-for-two-cars/

Then is the Munday chassis the one raced by Rullo last year in the DVS and presumably Chahda this year?

What is the latest date/time a team can nominate a pilot for Clipsal?
Presuming sometime Thursday?

Might take that long to find the pilot with the right *skillset*...

Any ideas who might fit the bill? Maybe the team concerned could use the guidance...

Or not. Silence is deafening. Well its not completely quiet. The clock is ticking.

Tick tock. Tick tock.

Maybe. Perhaps.

Unlikely Umai running the car sponsorshipless for the weekend would cost him a lot less than paying the REC fines for no showing which can be anything in excess of $150,000

Or start & park.

Either way, it is remarkably inelegant..

I'm guessing it is too late to hand the REC in as others (including LDM) have done in the past. Presumably this had to be done before entries were lodged at the end of last year?

Yep the deadline to hand back there REC has well and truely passed they had to confirm it then now if they were going park it now they'll be charged in excess of $150,000 for every round the team misses if they don't run the entry so Lucas' best option is to chuck a driver (Aaren) in irrespective of funding running it without full funding will be a lot more of a cheaper endeavour than paying the round-by-round fines

And so the mystery of LDM #3 will go on has there ever been a driver announcement made this late? I've spoken to one of Aaren's sponsors today and he is of the belief that they're very close to a deal but nothing is set in place as of right now next 48 hours are going to be interesting

agreed, and yet in the 2016 silly season thread , names were being thrown around in the days leading up to it, and monster was a bit of a secret on it

Late launch, same as this year for the monster car

If he can keep the car of the walls early and makes some progress up
the field later in the season he'll end up having a strong year
