Well the Hope Racing Hybrid car got further than other LMP1s did last year oder years before that. I thought it was a great project and it's a pity they didn't get an entry for 2012. I had hopes that they would still get in via the reserve list, but it seems like thats not going to happen

I remember that same blog had something about the Corvette "GTP". Those turned out to be true partly.

Judging by those driver choices I would assume that there could be some co-opertion between Oak and Marc VDS this year? Similar to Kronos Aston Martin in 2011
Or am I putting 1 and 2 together and getting five... |

Probably the latter, it's just a function of Martin and Leinders being more than decent drivers. LMP2 is officially getting more manic with every driver announcement.

Apparently Lola are about to announce a new LMP customer shortly, any guesses? Is this the Dempsey P2 already announced by the team or could it be another P2 for the ALMS? The Autocon guys?

I think that would be great to see. The N24 would be perfect for the Caddy since they market themselves as testing there and being faster than a Ferrari or some nonsense....

It could be an ELMS team I suppose too but with their calendar in doubt it is unlikely. I can't see it being a WEC team as it is too early to announce for 2013.

Love to see caddy back , if they commit and finish their announced programe this time . Their last P1 chassis design was beuatiful .

Cadillac DTM car would basically be the definition of what GM is trying to achieve. They want the Cadillac brand to compete with BMW, Audi, and Mercedes. They have definitely put DTM on the table. whether or not they get the go ahead is another story but that is definetly something they think long and hard about every night.

Could that signal a return to DTM by their Opel brand? Imagine an Opel branded CTS coupe taking on the German coupes. Or maybe they'll just stay with the N.A. DTM series, if it takes off. I thought the merging with SuperGT would be the precursor to the American DTM? That merger looks troubled and doubtful so far.
