To sum up the entire race. Abysmal!

Congrats to Action Express, CORE, Level 5*, and PORSCHE!

*Level 5 will get their win back.

Argh. I am no Scott Tucker fan but if this stupid penalty holds up, the 555 and Level 5 were absolutely robbed.

Good to see Seabass get the overall win though. Would have been nice to see the Wayne/Rickey/Jordan trio on the top step but this is a nice win as far as I'm concerned.

Nice to see CORE immediately deliver as a Porsche factory team.

GTD was surprisingly entertaining IMHO (dumb yellow and last lap penalty nonsense notwithstanding).

Absolutely no coverage of the PC winning car. Whatevs.

I did the same. In reality though all it does is go to the social media guy/girl who has no sway.

Well, looks like I'll be doing my Club rallye instead of driving to Laguna after this mess.

Is the avoidable contact the one in the bus stop on the first lap off caution??

I hadn't really seen Tandy race but he's dynamite!

Clutch drive from Pilet. Didn't he do something rather upsetting in a Porsche last year?

It cannot be for the last lap fight, is ridiculous. I think the penalty was for the contact in previous laps, when Winkelhock reported steering problems.

Pretty nice first step into the "new era". Can't wait until TUSCC arrives at Sebring.

As for GTD: I wouldn't have punished the Level 5 cars. Winkelhock did such a risky move and wasn't rewarded, so I don't know why he ends up being rewarded for doing something dumb after all.

Really, the race wasn't at all bad until the last 20 minutes destroyed the credibility of all the officials. Once again, GT is the show stealer. Both classes, particularily GTD, excelled. The series did a fine job in that regard for the quality of entries.

for me the avoidable contact might have been at the bus stop -- front of Ferrari into right rear of audi hard enough it bend the Audi

Well on the bright side congratulations to AEX, Porsche and whoever the heck won LMPC.

Also, solid job by Muscle Milk. Bringing it home in your first 24 hour race in a new car with BOP disadvantage.

According to Fox broadcast, Ferrari has been penalized, and Audi given the win.

On another interesting note, I think it's the first time a BMW Z4 has gone the distance without hitting trouble in a 24 hour race (GTE or GT3)

I really think that decision will be upheld. If they were going to penalize level 5, do it back when they actually made contact, not the last lap!

23 hours and 40 minutes of a pretty much stellar race, the LOL BoP notwithstanding, and race control messes it all up in the last 20 minutes.

Glad to see Porsche win, and I was rooting hard for FLM, but that was a BS call. I can't believe I'm defending Scott Tucker. I need a shower.

My predictions are realised : a Corvette DP and the Porsche RSR in GTLM !
Congratulations to all and my wishes for a full recovery for Malucceli and Gidley.

Is ridiculous, someone needs to make a breathalyzer test to race direction after the yellow flag and the sanction.

A war between Scott Tucker and the France family, Scorsese may use it for his next movie.
