Was anyone aware if the the temperature sensors were fitted to helmets of the drivers of coupes at Barcelona? The regs indicate that the scrutineers can fit such sensors but does not indicate that they will. Additionally, would the 12 degree relative temp allowance (car vs ambient) suggest they are looking at air temperature being the ambient for comparison or is it track temperature (which is often alot higher)? With so many Coupes, this will be more significant.

Know what you mean. Would have looked better on the slant and slightly tapered towards the outside edge. Maybe they were trying not to look too much like the Acuras

i love it, it looks a lot like a group C 3.5 litre at the front with the headlights, i love it personally, if i can make lemans then this is the car im rooting for along with the barmy sounding lola aston martin.
any times from the suzuka test we can compare to previous sportscar times? it would be interesting to see just how fast the S102 will be, im betting at lemans it will be the fastest petrol car over a single lap or very close to the top. |

S102's shakedown time at Suzuka was 1'51.
This time was recorded in high height not to get downforces. This year's pole position time of Super GT was 1'51.163 by Nissan-GTR. Official test report http://www.dome.co.jp/news/racereport/dt_378.html They tried long air intake parts and rear cowling with many louvers. |
