I wonder how much relevance this testing will have, as a fairly big cool down is forcasted for Saturday--about a 10-12 degree F drop in temperature is predicted.
Order so far is Pug, Audi (-.4), Audi (-.9) and Pug (-.9). Next LMP1 is over 3 seconds back, and the Prodrive Aston is barely a second faster than the fastest LMP2 so far, even if the Aston is only .7 back of the Dyson Lola that's the fastest non diesel/non ILMC entry. Are the Ferrari's going to run paddle shift here? or which ones rather. I know one of the patron cars has been using it. but what about the AF Corse cars and what about the F430's. are the gte-am's allowed to have paddle shift?

I wish the West lambo was still here, we could have a real catfight over GT2 "Division B's" ultimate supremacy - Jaguar vs Lotus vs Doran Ford vs Lamborghini. That's a bunch of DNFs, accidents and poor lap times just waiting to happen.

Judging by the testing times the cost capped HPD with the bigger restrictor and the lesser weight is doing really well. Anyone else pleasantly surprised by the P2 field. HPD's vs Oreca nissans vs Pescarolos, thats a bit mouthwatering

Seeing as right now ther i only a 2-3 sec gap between Petrol and diesels. And we know that the Oreca Peugeot is faster than the petrols but not nearly as quick as the R18/908 we know that the top times are going to tumble.....amazing what regulations can do.
seems like the Audi's and Peugeot are on ecu control right now. maybe 83% power? i know its only testing but. also The 458's have been very low key. and he lizard porsche is only 4 tenth off last years pole in testing. Times will tumble in GT as well. im thinking well see 1.19's/(1.18's for BMW) in qualy |

Every diesel driver had the opportunity to do some running since yesterday (Especially Montagny & Bernard did some long stints this afternoon with solid pace), but Davidson is the exception. When will he get behind the wheel? Is he in good shape now? He hasn't tweeted anything since his arrival to the track too.
I was thinking the same, there's a good P2 fight in view! |

The HPd in the 1.13's hmm. only 1 sec off the P1 petrols. doesnt that mean the p1 petrols should be faster, not the diesels slower?

A SPEED article yesterday said there will be 8 hours of practice today.
Is there another session later today or was there one this morning? |
