Maybe the best thing to do for the people looking to take up Roger on his kind invitation is to meet on the pitwall opposite garage 51 at 1355 (for a 1400 meeting).

Should be easy to find the group there.

Dateline; Friday Houx camping.

1am and I am freshed as usual. Had to run to gauntlet from Arnage back to the site, if only I could have my brother's Range Rover on Jo'burg number plates, then you could steam there without sanction

I have a couple of bottles of shareholder specials from the Brewdog brewery for the meet. Rum and whisky flavoured beer.

My rough count of the numbers at the meeting is 34. I can't remember if that is a record or not.... I suspect it may well be. I say it every year, but that was the best meeting yet. Thank you to everyone, whether Tenths members or friends or relatives of Tenths members, for coming along. It was great to see all the 'old stagers', plus a number of new faces, some of whom had travelled huge distances to stand on the hallowed soil. In particular, thanks to batmobile (Eric), Bernard B and PascaLM, our great friends and fine hosts. Special additional thanks to Kpy (Christopher) for arranging Allon's banner. As I understand it, Allon is actually in hospital as I write this, so even if he hasn't seen the photo yet, I know he'll really appreciate the sentiment expressed.

Thank you all. The meeting is one of those things that makes the annual trip to Le Mans so special, as recognised both in print and on Radio Le Mans!

it really does, thank you to all of you who made us feel welcome it was great to meet so many people over the course of the weekend, and really great to share in *your* le mans too. it helps to understand why it's such a special event. which it is. and i still can't work out exactly why!

about 80% convinced i'll be there next year - i was offered the same camping pitch again, and it's so good that it'd almost be rude to say no though maybe i'll head up on wednesday night instead to catch qualifying. this is how it ends up as a week long trip, isn't it?

It was great catching up with old friends as well as putting names and faces with others I hadn't had the pleasure before. Just as last year, I could have easily stayed a good while longer if not for that race getting in the way.

Great to meet many of the forum members, put names to faces and enjoy everyone's kind hospitality. Thanks to those who brought along some new and interesting beverages, just what I needed after a exceedingly large night on Friday (more of a continuation really). Home safe and sound and now to review the week and race.

I was surprised and delighted to see that people still remembered me from 2010 since I haven't been active on the forum.

Thanks to all the guys handling this wonderful meeting and for the uh-la-la drinks. Rob's Wonder-drink was awesome. I'll search it in Vienna and hope to find that brand.

Glad the meeting went down well once again. We'd hoped to be there but were trying to hold down a place at the first corner without the benefit of grandstand tickets.

Hoping to get some next year so it shouldn't be an issue. But saying that we were lucky to see plenty of members at the visits and dotted through the week. Great to see everyone!
