Fitting end to this race, what an anti-climax overall.

Congrats (I guess) to Muscle Milk/Cytosport and Greg Pickett!

Great job by Muscle Milk, would love to see that team race in ILMC or the Le Mans 24 Hours itself. Congrats to Luhr, Graf, Cytosport, Gunnar, Gonzalez, CORE, BMW, Hand, Mueller, Black Swan, Bleekemolen, and Pappas on their wins today. Cant really congratulate Level Five on theirs...

This race really set the tone for another Vettel dominated F1 race in several hours. Like I said, I really would love to see Luhr and Graf compete at Le Mans with Team Cytosport.

Keeping my obvious bias towards Porsche and Flying Lizards aside, the race fizzled out after Pat Long went out. Hurts me to say this, but drive of the race goes #62 Ferrari, to get on the podium.

There may have only been two cars in P1 but as the saying goes, to finish first you first have to finish. Congrats to Muscle Milk (god that car is beautiful) and to BMW, there great year just keeps going on. Well done to Risi for grabbing third after what happened in qualifying.

Ya know if it wasn't for Scott Sharp failing miserably and the Corvette's bashing everyone off the track i wouldn't have known this was an ALMS race, started getting a little sleepy towards the end.

Was hoping for a late BMW breakdown, but oh well - we'll beat em next time. 6th place finish for the Jag, nice. |

Other than a couple of minor glitches, I think we had a pretty faultless live stream today.

I don't know, The Falken Porsche was keeping the Corvettes and the Sharp Ferrari busy for quite a while into the second half.
The onboards with Graf were good, especially when he was dealing with the traffic. Really there was quite a lot of action through the field. So, I'm certainly NOT going to complain. As for Lime Rock coming up next on the schedule, can we PLEASE ditch the West Bend Chicane?! And thank goodness, I had ZERO glitches with the stream today, and just a hiccup or two with qualifying yesterday. So on that front, I am VERY happy. |

On the front of Dysons car theres a sticker that says: G OIL, GULF SAFE. Wonder if it has something to do with their old sponsor...

That makes me chuckle a little too. Dyson had that sponsor last year as well. I think it is a Florida tourism thing, but I would guess they have had BP $ in the recent past

That race was fantastic. The GT2 battle was epic. ideally you want a battle to the finish line but dont use that as your excuse for saying nothing really happened when their was a FLAMING GT2 BATTLE for 75% of the race. The end of the race was the last 25%. I call that event a success. The racing was more than i could keep up with. |
