According to planetlemans.com it will be Franchitti.

There have been conflicting reports there...

Yesterday several sources indicated Franchitti, according to Project Lemans Basseng was informed today....

For now DSC and Planetlemans are reporting Franchitti. The entry list is like a game of musical chairs though

Basseng has tested the car more recently than Franchitti. Maybe that means something.

Speaking of Lambos, I guess Thurn und Taxi's Citation Cup entry is dead? Or yet to come?

Maybe Ratel will learn something from this and not schedule races on the same dates next year! Maybe!!

still, we get a huge GT1 grid.
i wonder how many there will be at the next alms race?
shouldn't be too hard to predict drivers in that race...

Well I bought a weekend ticket, but I'm only going on Sunday. It was cheaper than paying on the gate.

I'm looking forward to it. I just hope they don't shut half the circuit off like they did at the LMES in 2005. A group of us sat down at Stowe and got moved.

And what pray tell does the ALMS have to do with a scheduled conflict between FIA GT and the LMS race at Valencia? Do you always try to be such a ....... What seems to be the problem!!!!!!!

to be honest, i think i'm just a bit 'rebellious' or perhaps 'patriotic'.
and i bear grudges
no offence meant, i just find it a bit laughable occasionally, and have the poor manners to point it out.
you do have a far better LMP2 class, and i love the street circuit idea.
but it did look to me, at the time, like you were having a dig at LMS/FIA GT, like it seems i am garnering a reputaion for doing to ALMS.
i really should stop.
meanwhile, what are the odds on which driver do we reckon?

they were chucking people out of those grandstands at FIA GT last year- they forgot to lock them!
got a great view of the race alliance reliant robin incident!

Apologies for reports of inclement weather, it is all my fault, I bought some new suncream.

Speaking of weather - this mornings forecasts looks like we're in for a wet one, with a bit of sun thrown in later - in fact incredibly similar to the meeting last year I would say?

Back to the Lambo replacement driver, whoever gets in the car ain't gonna offer what Bouchut does normally so straight away that car is written out of the equation surely? I would think it's down to 'Koxy' to do the honours for Lambo this weekend?

It seems to be a bit of a mixture according to the BBC weather bit - hopefully the sun will come out on Sunday instead as prob just going for the one day!

Am looking forward to it, should be a good weekend...

I don't care too much about the weather as long as I get a little dry window to pack the tent up so I don't have to bring it home wet!

The other lambo is weighed down anyway, isn't it?
and last year it was miserable as hell until the race start, and i seem tio remeber a monster performance from kirkaldy in a 430, because it was damp?

FIAGT.com have posted the entry list.

Says TBA still for the #7 Lamborghini
And Bartels listed for the #1 Vitaphone Maserati again

It's all very confusing

Looking at the FP1 times for FIA GT3 it looks as though the Morgons, jaguars and Mustangs failed to make it out on track.

It will be a massive shame if they shut half the track off. Why would they do this?

I was hoping to walk around the track during the day on saturday.

As far as I understand the whole of the circuit are/will be open but most of the grandstands will not.
