scott fisher should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Hello tenthers just wondered if anybody noticed a dark silver Iveco race lorry doing a bit of a lap on Sunday morning,we were looking for somewhere to park and having been turned away from the main gate got sent to the paddock from gate 11 ! We did a short lap of the paddock and ended up in the car park by the motor homes to finally unload our cargo,a March 821,regards Scott

Thank you Bauble, one of me about to pass Rob Gravett. Like that's ever going to happen again. Sorry for all the teams who worked so hard only for gremlins to strike. Mr Bell especially has my commiserations.

Thanks also Gary C and Gary H.

Hoping this process works, here's a few stills from the rearcam.

Andrew, looked like you were going well, so I'm glad you had a good race. Those rear-looking stills are fab ... I love 'em ... and may even turn my own GoPro round next time!

Unfortunately not, I was help up by a Mr Hunt before I had a chance to sign my life away, which all took longer than planned.

I will be at Silverstone Classic media day / race weekend if that helps.

Sorry to Hijack, but if your still after LL pictures theres some in here. Not sure how to link to specific pictures without just reposting, but they are just after the Mclaren F1 pics. Ive got plenty more too if your looking for a specific car, I just cherry picked the better ones.

Bob, you'd be surprised how many Tenthers were there. One-two is another - can you work out who he is?

Yimkin, I've emailed your Dad; hope he got it!

Jochen Mass
what was he thinking ?
words fail me........

on the other hand
I ran out of fuel on the last lap of the FJ race going into the chicane
it was tempting to try to coast to start finish line
but in a split second decided to pull into the pits instead to avoid beeing a dangerous mobile chicane
now I know I was right..

Remiss of me to not post a few from the pre-war race - I've included a Fraser Nash or two - I know they're JR's favourites.

Sadly (and I only saw the accident on my computer courtesy of the excellent live streaming) I can only conclude that Mr Mass wasn't thinking at all. He just seemed to plough straight into the back of the Lister...

let me paint another picture... the car in front should have known that Mass was behind him - to be that close he would have known before the Shell Building he was there, in which case maybe he should have raised a hand to show he was going into the pits/paddock and coming out of the chicane always been in the pit lane. To quote the old highway code mirror-signal-manoeuvre...

Film footage looked like the Lister's turn in was a last minute decision and in that event Mass would have had no where to go...

All irrelevant in some ways as you cannot turn back time and fortunately only wallets and pride were damaged. However I think to blindly blame Jochen Mass would be unfair.

Thanks Simon for your considered opinion, I have adjusted my outlook accordingly. (You were there, I only saw it happening in the background on my computer screen!)

I have put all of my pictures on the usual site, the good, the fair and the indifferent. After all even a poor quality picture might be the very one someone wants.

John T. I have no idea what you are on about Sorry but I am hopeless at riddles, anyway any other members of this eclectic bunch who were there may well find themselves 'snapped' and on public display.

While all of my pictures can be downloaded if used kindly credit;

Hmm, for anyone with a sense of history, there's a certain irony in that.

Very sad to see.
