Thanks a lot for the information. They said the damaged looked very bad when they brought the car back to the pits but afterwards they could see there was no damage on the engine or rear suspenssion.
I hope the car to keep its performance after the repairing jobs. |

hi, this just a general observation that in the alms there has been a lot of accidents for ferrari f430 gt2 cars. is this because the level of gt2 competition in america is so high and competetive that all the drivers are pushing 101% out of the cars and often finding the limits? or is it the nature of the tracks. i was just wondering because in europe there hasnt been many f430 accidents.
Back to the 12 hours of sebring, despite low numbers in gt1 it is looking like a close race and lmp2 is very very exciting indeed. Thanks for your time |

Session stopped - red flag
Everyone is back in the pits except the Robertson Racing Panoz which is still on the track, so probably that's the one that caused the red flag. Hope it's not too serious! |

DSC have solved the Marino mystery:-
Marino Franchitti is here with the Andretti Green team, even though he is not driving the car this weekend. “It’s been known to me since I signed up that I would not be racing here at Sebring. The schedule is not set yet, but I will be getting my chance during the season.” He was in the car on Monday, and said it felt quite good to be in it, although his neck muscles weren’t quite prepared for the abuse at the time that a proper prototype will give. Back to the gym… |

Be interesting to see how the Audi 145.826 V's Spyder 146.826 works out with 10 litres less for Audi .
Still early days though . |

anybody else think the fuel difference would only be a big thing at Le Mans? assuming its legible in the 2:45 sprints but in 12 hours any real time difference, maybe 1 extra stop? sorry im a forester not an engineer so the math is not my strength anymore. and can the diesel flow faster to make up for the viscosity? remember hearing somethin about it but slipped my mind now

The flow rate goes with the territory in my opinion . It was Audi's decision to adopt diesel , the rule stated a size of nozzle to use , they deserve no adjustment .
