Yeah right, you might want to do some research. 2004 had a full blown works effort by Audi, Manthey had strong Porsche support in 2005 etc.

Interesting. So basically a Grand Am GT crossover race, this will probably be the best race out there. Too bad the cameras are gonna spend all 12 hours watching the pugs do demonstration laps.

But there's always someone on the Cup-cars that's fully capable of wrecking it...

Do we think that the drivers in the cars for this practice session are likely to be the ones doing the qualifying later?

Looks like Drayson has dossed the Lola.

Sounds like the Drayson lola has hit a cup car quite hard with a fair bit of damage- red flag again.
His lordship was driving on cold tyres |

Timing screen says the car is back in the pits, so it mustn't have been a heavy crash.
EDIT: Okay, now that's a reason... |

So maybe he should tell Magnus, Autohaus, Miller Barrett, TRG, and Grant that they're all just "field fillers" because they're just running GT3 Cups too.
And actually, the camera crews have gotten quite adept at giving GT2 some good airtime. With GTC having name drivers, I suspect they'll get some attention too. i don't think it's so cut-and-dried with the Pugs either. Their ex-F1 drivers have had something of a record of throwing it off the road, so I wouldn't count out Drayson or AMR by any means. Also, I'm a bit surprised as to just how close the top LMP2s are. And in reality, you only need two cars at any one time doing the old cut-and-thrust with one another to have a compelling battle for position. You should see the video of Villeneuve and Arnoux going at it for 2nd in the 1979 French GP at Dijon-Prenois. |

One incident does not a trend make, sir.

Anyone else finding it strange seeing Johannes Van Overbeek driving a Ferrari?
