The R-EX is still a young car, so I figure Reiter want to continue to run to ensue the value of their investment, regardless of the new factory effort, the R-EX is still a very fast car

Quickly scanned your list again Bcarr6, noticed there's a couple of cars that are incorrectly placed.

Endurance
JB Motorsport -> testing at HTTT, but will compete in GT Sports Club.

Sprint
Boutsen Ginion -> announced Endurance, AFAIK Sprint is highly unlikely (read: not going to happen)
Team Phoenix - Audi R8 LMS - Moller Madsen / TBA (SILVER) -> double in your list, already as Phoenix Racing.

Thanks, didn't know the JB car was GTSC

Last I heard Bousten was a likely for Sprint so good to know it's probably a no

Gives us a car count of 59 and 38 in enduro and sprint respectively, maybe a couple of cars in each in doubt.

Looking like a mighty fine line up

Sprint was a lot smaller last year. Good car count. Near every brand in gt3 is well represented.

Thanks to McLaren for the laughs for continually referring to Garage 59 as a customer effort.

truth is that small tuners like reiter, callaway or kessel simply have been killed since 2011 where manufacturers massively entered in gt3 customers market. Honestly, if I was a team principal, why should I buy a reiter gallardo when I could spend the same amount of money to get a lamborghini huracan gt3 with a massive lamborghini tech support for all the season long?

Whats the story with the Renault RS01? Is it taking part in the BOP tests?

Everything going well, there will be at least one R-EX at Spa.

Think the RS01s are just there to enjoy the test that's it. Certainly not eligible for Blancpain

Isn't the Huracan 140,000 euro more to buy?

Plus the Huracan was ordinary at Spa last year. Really needs a BOP helping hand. BOP on the R-EX is pretty good.

Totally agree

The Reiter cars are entered by Reiter Engineering themselves in the test, I figure one of the following is the case:

A- they are only doing the test

Or B- they are going to do the season themselves instead of selling to customers, and have the programme funded like last year, by the well funded am drivers

Additionally as Scudd says, there should be the extra car from him at SPA!

I believe it's there to adjust the BoP. They have a GT3 kit at least for Creventic and French GT and wouldn't be a surprise if they wanted to expand that. No road cars, though, so it's a tricky matter. But a cool car.

Not sure if it's 100%, but I heard it is allowed to race at Spa 24h (Am class only) and in the gentleman series of SRO, so it makes sense they are there for the BoP.

customer cars with gentleman drivers driving today.

Way off the pace I've heard, great for no change in BOP.

First batch of HTP drivers announced, biggest surprise is Maxi Buhk is leaving his Bentley factory role to stay with HTP, to be joined by Dominik Baumann, and potentially Jazeman Jaafar.

Also driving will be Indy Dontje, Jules Szymkowiak and Clemens Schmid

Boutsen Ginion BoPping the RS01 to be used in Blancpain apparently. Not a big fan of the idea myself.

I think the AM Class should only be for older spec cars.

Also, accepting the RS01 could open a whole new can of worms

EDIT: a sixth! WRT R8 http://sportscar365.com/blancpain/st...-blancpain-gt/

Streaming season launch live....... but forgot to make it public. Awesome.

57 cars at Monza apparently, 28 pro which is a bit top heavy. Can't do Circuit of Ireland so thinking to finally do Monza for proper racing this year.

Apparently Stephane Ortelli is driving the Emil Frey Jaguar at the test. That'd be a great pickup for the team.

From DSC:
Stephane Ratel this evening confirmed that the RS01 would be eligible for GT Sports Cup and for the Trophy Class in the Spa 24 Hours (for one make cars including Lamborghini Super Trofeo etc) and specifically not for the Blancpain Endurance Cup or Sprint Cup.
