I'm actually glad I couldn't make it in person - I would have missed the end!

I love 04s has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Hi all,

What a fantastic race - Shimoda was simple exceptional.

Just to clear something up that MotorsTV got wrong over and over, Chilton drove for 2 hours in the middle stint and to answer all the questions about why Tom came out, simply because a race win was still possible with Hayanari whereas it was unlikely with Tom - he did a great job though.

Cant wait for Laguna or PLM, both Zytek and Creation look set to be there, between them they must be able to teach Champion a lesson!

Thats what Mark Cole said on Motors TV.

Not sure where he got that info from as he also said Zytek would be building a hybrid.

How good was that Spyker!

Great racing throughout the field.

Can't wait for Turkey, looks like a great circuit.

Then we can look forward to 2006, and hopefully see the series take another step up, both on and off the track.

The foundations of the series certainly look strong, with teams getting ever more proffessional.

A good win for the Zytek, sounds like we had another good LMES race.

Fantastic cover Fab. Thanks a lot

Pitty the grandsstands were empty, maybe they should run at the old 'Ring, bet they could have more people in there (40.000 odd people last week at the 6Hour N'Ring Endurance Championship)

9,000 was the total attendance today. Pretty pitiful considering how good of a race it was (yet again!). These LMES races keep on getting better and better!

Im delighted for Spyker ..... indeed the whole race was great . Would have been nice to have the TVR up there too .

Anyone notice that the Kruse car was red and its usuall sponsorship was missing. The Courage C65 that was entered by Intersport at Le Mans was red and owned by Barazi who drove for Kruse today . Any idea whats going on here ?

The races recieve virtually zero promotion, so its no suprise.

The ACO, at this moment in time, are simply concerned with building large, quality grids, and quite rightly so.

Attendances will only increase significantly when manufactuers arrive in the series and sponsors take greater interest.

Already this season we see much more sponsorship, while next year should see this increase further, and hopefully the arrival of the factory Audi, and later Peugeot teams.

It shouldn't take too much effort to attract 30K.
