I wonder if Risatti still has chances at Campos. Don't know if Scalabroni could have two Argentinians in his team.

Sadly Jarvis hasn't been able to find the money to do GP2 so will be in an F3 seat next season

Interesting news from autosport.com about Carlin/DPR. Ernesto Viso likely to drive and Roly Vincini to engineer.

That's fair enough - he's obviously realised a more than evens chance of the F3 title is a better bet than getting bogged down in the wrong drive in a higher category?
Back to the Carlin set up. Viso would be a good choice of driver as he'll be hungry to win the thing at his 3rd attempt and Vincini is a cracking engineer! I think that outfit would be in the hunt from the off? |

If Viso gets one seat, is the other seat up for grabs or has someone got that already?
I was just thinking... Danielsson is looking for a GP2 seat and well, he and Roly seemed to work pretty well together in WSR. |

However, I would expect that A Valles is more likely to be re-confirmed at Campos than F Porteiro. Reason being that Adrian Campos is Valles' manager and if he can't place him or doesn't want him in another team (I think he would do well in another outfit) he will run him again. I'm also not yet sure if either Zaug or Perera will definitely be racing GP2 next season, they may well be in FR 3.5? |

In the news: Soucek is going to test for DPR in the next round of testing
http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/55819 That'd be a good seat placement I think. |

It will be interesting to see who gets the other seat at ART. Senna and Di Grassi were the front-runners, and Mike Conway has only entered the frame since his Macau success.

Indeed, I don't see Mike at ART, although I suspect it will be a newcomer to the category partnering Ammermuller?
Re Maldonado, he's done a lot of laps for Enrique Scalabroni's team, so isn't there a good chance he'll be forming an all South American line up with Lopez at BCN? |

My guess is Senna at ART, although Trident were interested in running or at least testing him.
Christian Bakkerud is also going to have a day with Carlin DPR at the end of the week - http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/55823 |

How about Parente in the second Carlin seat. He is well known to Trevor, but, unf., don't have that little extra bit of smt. known as 1M $$$.

Yeah, Parente has been running for Carlin for years now. Frankly, they could do worse as well.
Looking at the numbers of seats/drivers, most will get a drive. As for the big seats, I'm picking Senna for ART and Conway for Arden. |

Autosport says Razia and Hanley are the two candidates for the second Racing Engineering seat.

Hulkenberg will test for Super Nova soon. Not suprising because Super Nova is running the A1GP team. But the kid is quick, I would be a great addition to the grid.

I would favour Hulkenburg to go for the ASM seat in F3 Euroseries he's reported to be involved with.
This is Supernova probably just getting in an early claim on him for 2008 |

In this weeks Autosport magazine there is a news item with a nice photo of Piquet driving the series test car with the modifed areo package. Has anyone seen this pic floating around online anywhere? I cant find it myself...
