In fact I work for a accomodation booking company here in Le Mans (Be quiet, it's not the ACO one, we are quite cheaper!!!) if you need a few details, please join us at www.acropolis.fr or mail me your request and we'll give you a solution asap. |

Just curious about Audi Sport UK. Anyone know why they did not enter the 1000K? Sorry if this is a repeat.

Gilles, are you on the spot ? If you are, have we to understand that you're not working in Grenoble anymore, and that you're in Le Mans 365 days a year (that should be good news for all of us) ?

I never be so near of the spot. I work here in le Mans for a company called Acropolis, an event company dedicated mostly to... ... racing events !!! One of our main activities is the pre-booking of hotels, castles and houses... but also the management of hospitality for racing teams (Spyker and Racing for Holland for example...) I let you imagine how happy I am |

Do you have a link with ACO ? I mean unofficially... how the business side of the stuff for 2004 ? They said in Ouest France yesterday that Le Mans was stagnating at 210 000 people in 2003... |

Unofficially we're the only alternative to the ACO Hotel booking service, so we're direct competitors.
All the services that the ACO can't or won't to offer to teams and visitors, we could make it. 2004 could be a good year BUT the 1000 kms is definitely a "little event". So few bookings, hardly no hospitality... It sound to be only an anorak event !!! BTW it's the first and unique edition and it's the best way to see at home some GTs |

No, I don't think that the lap times are recorded yet.
Yesterday, the Riley-Scott went out in the gravels, and the Goh Audi was fast, according to David Legangneux who was on the spot... the french journalist posts here the chassis numbers, on the Jérôme Mugnier's site. Last edited by Fab; 5 Nov 2003 at 06:12. |

More pics on the ACO's site ; notice that the Spyker is back in it's 2002's livery, more metallic grey than orange...
The RML MG is superb, and Pescarolo team seems to encounter some problems... Last edited by Fab; 5 Nov 2003 at 06:11. |

I just wanted to mention that Klaas Swart and Tom Coronel will be on the grid of the Euroboos race (F1) on sunday...
Edited again : I would like to mention that the ACO site is worth a visit and made a lot of progress, there's a lot of new things each day, an even each hour, including videos (interviews for now) and pics of the pratice... and they promise more to come (vidéos ? Live covering ?)... the weather is nice on Pays de la Loire, including Le Mans I think (must be confirmed by Gilles) ; this stuff is turning well, what do you think ? btw: today he will drive his first laps in the Lister. Good to see Klaas back on the track. Too bad he doesn't bring his sportscar to Le Mans. |
