This race is actually not bad, from what I can tell in between the commercial breaks.

So what is your opinion of the P/GTLM only format now? Pretty good eh?

It's not Fox 1's fault that all the passing happened during commercials ...they at least managed top replay the Pruett pass.
No FCYs!! Even with a couple cars in the wall. TUSC has learned a little. |

I do believe FOX is going to air as many adverts during this 100 minute race as were aired during the Daytona 24.

The two class format isn't bad really. The PC cars aren't missed at all. Would be nice if they maybe had a few more entries, or maybe even allowed the GTD class to race.
Surprisingly there have been no cautions, but it's not much of a change with all the commercials... |

Nope, easy money... same pay, less work. Besides, they get to see the complete race on their monitors.

I gave up watching the race because of the commercial breaks. Looks like I've given up on this series for now.

I won't be watching Laguna unless there is a MAJOR BoP adjustment in the P class. Again I don't hate DP cars and they are putting on a pretty good show right now, but the politics that remain behind them just makes me disinterested. I can watch the WEC live or taped on later YouTube for free, and that provides me with the style of racing I enjoy. That is where it seems my sportscar fix has to come from now on. |

Commercial breaks are insane today. I'm so sick of this. Silverstone here I come!
Seems like redemption for Magnussen after a disaster at Sebring |

They'll be airing an advert when the checkers wave.
Worst broadcast of any kind in the history of television. |

I think, to be fair, and as insensitive as that comment seems to hardcore sportscar/RLM fans who knew Jim - most people don't.
And while it's a nice tribute I'd rather they did it while showing racing. I can see why people are annoyed. Hands down the worst coverage of a sportscar race I've seen. If I was in the States and couldn't see the feed during ads I'd have turned off. |

There is simply no way to gain fans or keep fans when can barely watch any racing. I'd rather have streamed broadcasts with no commercials than this. I don't need tv,

Wanted to like this, but the experience of trying to watch on Motors with a fundamental absence of commentary and a very short race really making it nothing like an endurance round made this a highly frustrating and unfulfilling experience.
I've really wanted to be positive about TUSC but on the basis of this I'm not sure I'll be back for much more. |

I missed the start of the race, so I am assuming that the first 6 min were without commercials. Here is where we stand with 12min left in the race:
Racing action+driver interviews: 50 minutes Commercial time (this includes any bumper features in the broadcast): 37 minutes The longest racing stint was 17 minutes during the pit window |

You know, that really stinks because this race has not lived up to anyone's outlook here with this much green flag running and a decent on track product but the coverage is down right insulting. Pathetic.

Which director decided to cut away when Jordan Taylor closed to withing ten feet of Pruett? Can he get a special award?
