Think of the weight SS, you should try running 6L next time.
Good luck at Sandown this weekend. |

Thanks Dave, good GT3 Cup field of 20 even though several of the usual suspects stayed home. Had a minor victory in race 1, finished ahead of Roger. Good times....

I'll still be a fuel fairy for the new batmobile Silver...order was restored races 2-3 where Scudd smoked me.
The big man still logs on, feel free to have a crack at him anytime, Trendy and I do. It's off thread, but geez you've got to feel for Kane Rose. Dandenong corner is getting a reputation as a graveyard for 996 cups... |

http://www.12hbathurst.com/?page=557 just seen also on twitter that team marcos is looking for driver for the bh12. looks like they will be entering a lotus. |

Engstler? Sweet.
Great to see a Z4 down here at last, would be nice to see the reigning Dubai champs Schubert down here with Hurtgen, Sandstrom, Milner etc they would be a strong lineup. |

Providing it did happen, a lineup like this would be fantastic. Wouldn't mind seeing Werner out here, either. They had a pretty decent showing at Spa. Edit: Just noticed Team Engstler has Kraihaimer entered alongside Engstler at Sepang this weekend. Would be great to see him out here for the 12 hour, also. It's a definitely a nice thought. That is a mega driver lineup. Seems the Creventic link is doing good.

Shame about the Quinns. That team is a great bunch of blokes. 12 Hour won't be the same without them. Still, I hope it TQ's comments don't detract from other local drivers/teams who are considering entering the event.
Would love to see an Aston Martin DBRS9 on the Mountain in February. |

The article says "recently imported"... err, it's not built yet. Shakedown postponed apparently... possibly next week, in Europe... The other car that was allegedly available to MM, in my guesstimated opinion, has been snapped up by Hector Lester... walked in with chq book, took car. |

For those more in the know than me, would the Robertson's ALMS car or the Lambda (ex-Matech) cars be eligible for this?
If so, i'm starting a petition |

The Robertson's car would not be eligible but the former Matech cars in GT3 version would. So we could have a Ford GT3 running as I think one could be running in the GT Championship next year and there are plenty out there, if the organisers can convince them to come over

If someone could convince one of the teams running a Callaway Corvette to make the trip, we'd have both GM/Ford representation in GT3.
I wish MarcVDS had opted to enter the FordGT or the Z4M instead of the Mustang, though. If only from the perspective that the former are further developed/more competitive. |

Owen Kelly recently imported a Ford GT from a race team in Florida but I don't know it's spec and whether it's for road or track use.

a small article written at our first outing with the new car. Which was just a quiet day out at a road car track day, where we had to maintain 75db, so we had the silencers fitted, hence the reported "disappointing" noise.
There are more pictures if you follow the prompts. http://www.carsales.com.au/reviews/2...rst-look-26837 |

Luckily, there's LOADS of supposedly great and more experienced drivers who have all made fools of themselves already, so there's nothing new to see. I hear theres some fork lift driver from a cold store warehouse in QLD that's bought a Lambo 600 GT3... apparently he's been racing eggs a while , but it'll be interesting to see how he handles the step up to a seriously fast aero car.... |

Don't worry about Tony, he has raced everything from Boats to cars and everything in-between. he is no fool and knows his limitations. He has had some seriously fast cars and boats over the years
