No limit on age as far as I know but they DO have to comply with BH noise limit. Suggest you e-mail them to ask what it is chaps.

the maximum limits are as per the Blue Book, ie 105dBa for a saloon car, but sometime a lower limit is set depending on the company hiring the circuit

staid davenport has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Noise shouldn't be a problem...what about performance?

Sadly, I have no way of measuring the noise level of my exhausts before the day, and I have no idea of what 105 dB sounds like. Given that I'm somewhat quieter than a factory standard TVR, can I assume I'm safe?

I would have thought so.

Marshals track days don't always run in the same group format as open track days, so please wait until the day to find out what will be organised on our behalf by MSV

Don't see any problem. I drove my 1999 Escort Finesse (1600) at the last BH marshals' trackday, in the novice group, without any problems.

It looks like I won't be doing BH either now. My car is still being repaired after my dear daughter decided to reshape the front of it. Hopefully I'll make it to cadwell.

i doubt my mini is going to make it now but Dee and I will still be there but in the Toledo as well, bit of a shame as i wanted to give the mini a good ragging but with the clutch currently on the table in the garage and work in four hours i am thinking she aint gonna make it.
looking forward to tomorrow though

to save me trawling through the last 15 pages, what time are we supposed to be there? Should i have recieved anything through the post or was registering with MSV online enough, i will print out the confirmation email i was sent. Brain isn't working to well this morningsorry for possibly dumb question. Right back to the garage see if i can get minmin back on the road.

See ya tomorrow.

If you go back to the MSV page and start to register again, before you get to the "buy" stage, it has the full day's timetable on there.

Sign on definitely starts at 07:30. I'll be there well before then to avoid the M25 carpark, but if you're lucky enough to live closer, I think the briefing starts at 08:30.

In the meantime, I'm driving myself mildly insane looking at the weather forecast. Yesterday, both weather.co.uk and the BBC were forecasting hail as the predominant weather condition for tomorrow, and now it's overcast with possible light showers in the afternoon!

At the moment there are no new track day dates planned. I will be talking to JP soon to see if we can arrange any new dates and will post them here.

Fantastic, if it happens again Dee and I will be well up for it, it was a fantastic day and I made a point of email people to let them know we had fun and to say thanks, to MSV and the guys who gave us hot laps in their race cars.
