I noticed in a press release that they want young up and coming NZ drivers (is that racist)

$500K would just be the cars and some spares. Then there is testing, race budgets, hangers on, rouse-abouts, and all the fluff and pimp.

Sayonara to circa $1.5 million to do set up, run Sandown, run Bathurst, plus crash.

Yeah, I think I've seen this show before. The main players in previous seasons have ended up:
- Giving stories to journos named Phelps about how their money is all gone
- Sleeping in their car on the Gold Coast with creditors chasing them
- Doing 10-15 years in maximum security.

Set-up, Sandown & Bathurst, even if they're only leasing the cars from Garry you're not going to see much change out of $1m. Then if they want to play fulltime next year...

Lets face it the background of the Craig Gores and so on shouldn't have inspired.

Don't know much about these guys but there are plenty of guys around with the money to do it.

No mention of sponsors so maybe he did get the drive on ability and not dollars?

So... Testing at QR & Winton today... All smiles (as ever)

Only interesting part seems to be some mystery about who may have codriven the #23 at Winton today... all secret squirrel stuff apparently.. Auditioning for the enduros perhaps..

Any ideas..?
