It's a Speads RM04 - I believe it's a stop-gap car until something more suitable is ready to race. It did look a bit out of place didn't it?

I assume that you are referring to the car that Chris Woodhouse drove - its down as an Arrows Judd on TSL! Still, if he did races his Speads, to be only 3-4 secs a lap slower than the 2-6th place proper EuroBoss cars in a motorbike engine car with about 1/3 of the Bhp of the others is pretty good going I'd say.

Chris has an Arrows A16 with a Judd V10 which is very close to being ready, he was given special dispensation by Roger Cowman to run as he is a very experienced and fast driver, while a few including me were surprised to see it there he watched his mirrors and kept out the way. During the meeting he was usually 10 seconds a lap quicker than the Zakspeed...........

driftwood has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
was stunned to see zakspeed time i think thundersports in his delivery van would be a tad quicker
was the car running on all cylinders? driver conscious?
need to implement 110% ruling FFords do 52 around brands !

driftwood you are refering to my mount from work and back not something I use during the day. I agree there is a need for a 110% rule in the series and yes my little Peugeot 206 van would have gone round quicker!

Indeed but you don't need mobile chicanes like that although he did a good job of staying out the way in what is a stunning car. My other half enquired whether Judy Lyons had joined the series

Talking of which, I see that Michael Lyons isn't quite as quick in Formula Renault as he thought he was in Historics (and he's already left one team). Still way quicker than I would be, though!

Michael Lyons has impressed me with the way he has acquitted himself with Historic F1 etc.

courageous should be qualifying in the top 5 on the gridcourageous should be qualifying in the top 5 on the grid
a % lap time cut off is only needed when drivers can't be considerete & if the nordschliffe 24 can cope with mini vs audi r8 then it kind of comes into perspective.
Maybe euroboss should consider allowing more lower league cars in to boost entries (how many times will an f1 car lap an f3 car in 20 mins?)

Chalk and cheese the Nordschliffe is 14 odd miles long, Brands Indy is 1.2 miles long and when the leaders are doing 40/41 second laps 55/59s lap times become an issue.

a % lap time cut off is only needed when drivers can't be considerete typical comment of a spectator who has never driven a race car let alone raced fast and powerful cars- just dont go there !!
euroboss specifically excludes small cars
It was conceived to run F1 2 3000 5000 type cars as RACMSA had banned bigger engined cars in Libre racing
rules specify minimum wheel width so as to keep out F3 type cars
Ye si can convert 1 of my dallara F3 cars to a 250 BHP motor fit 14 inch wide rears 10 inch front rims but it will not be what the idea is about
yes F3 car will lap in a clubmans hands 45 seconds around brands the young wannbe F1 guys are doing 42`s now but this is Brands hatch a small circuit go to donington e will have a different picture on lap times F1 57 secs WSR 59 F3 1.08

as you have said kevan yr not intreasted in racing in euroboss so why do you always criticise???
if it wasnt for Roger none of us would have anywhere to race are cars, as far as im concerned all you do is talk crap and try to run the series down, and the idea of this forum is to try and promote the series and come up with good ideas for people who come to watch us race, what they would like to see!!!!

A) just because my user name doesnt reveal my identity, for all you know i could be lewis or jenson.
B) I understand the offside rule, but I ain't Beckham.

In the former, you have made yourself look a twerp; in the latter you have alienated a fan.

On a lighter note; whenever I see the pleasent Euroboss driver Carlos Tavares I always end up thinking of this ungainly mob! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IqQwS...eature=related I'm sure i've seen H dancing like that at some point.

Well said chap.

It is worth noting that "Driftwood" does nothing but criticise and is not connected with Euroboss. Ignore his comments and continue to enjoy Euroboss for what it is. An opportunity to see F1 cars on a racetrack near you for less than the cost 4 pints down the pub. The noise and spectacle for the price of Scampi and chips for you and ur better half.

If you do happen to be Jenson or Lewis, come along, I'm sure H.Eng would let you have a drive of his fabulous V10 arrows, afterall it is more powerful than the car you are currently driving !

Ciao
