Sorry i didn’t realise I needed proof, just passing on what’s been said. Anyway Jade’s deal for last year was so last minute because someone snatched her original seat by bringing more money. Might be worth noting that some deals needed to be done by the deadline for entry last week.

Hopefully with the entry deadline now passed we do get a couple of announcements. I'd expect the second Hard seat to be the one that runs closest to being a media day announcement.

Very intrigued as to who they've got in the frame for that seat. Someone with enough money to subsidise the other seat, while getting a car that's been thrown together using second hand parts.

It's the seat I've got no clue about really, I know what Autosport said but I don't really see someone that's won races at this level being interested in a cobbled together Hard car.

Popped down to Croft this morning to see what was testing, someone supposedly in the know reckons that a certain Ms Edwards has indeed fallen short, but has a backup plan with a top line TCR UK deal (think China and Sweden and usually blue) if she can keep enough of her backers to pay for it.
It could be a Pinnochio tale, but that's the opinion of someone there in a Mini who was after that drive, but will be racing on the TOCA bill instead.

Actually surprised it’s taken this long to link Jade with a move to TCR - I imagine that would probably be a decent / wise move for her.

I don’t imagine it would be him, but a race winning BTCC driver who was semi-recently linked to Hard - Tom Onslow-Cole? No idea if he’s got a drive for this year sorted but the name just happened to come to mind remembering he did one/a few rounds in the VW a few years ago.
