Pretty likely Moffat at Ciceley now. Doubt BMR would confirm two drivers at seperate times on the same day!
Spine also tagged British Superbikes in that post, don’t read too much into it.

3 more years in BTCC for AJ. I think he is a credit to the championship, and I am pleased to see that his is sticking around.

I was wondering whether he might get off a have a crack at WRX at some point? I think WRX could do with a good non-Scandinavian.

Moffat's team was still referred to as Laser Tools in the interview.

I guess it makes sense to only put out 3 cars if the 4th is Plato’s questionable chassis from 2017. They could use the 4th chassis as a test or spare car.

It can still be called that no matter which car/team he is driving or being run by. Title sponsorship.

He wouldn't give an answer to what car he is driving. Just that the plan will be revealed in the "next few days".

Bad timing for a live Q&A IMHO – sort your reveal plan out.

Hmmmm... playing coy to me says not in the Merc - what's the point of holding back on a no news/status quo maintained story? Clearly Laser are backing as per the name checks, so primary sponsor is confirmed, so if any new news it is motor car related.

Fickle finger of fate says Subaru. Watch it be a Honda! 😉

Have they got the budget for testing this year then?

reading this Q&A with Hollmaby confirms what we thought about the MGs

https://www.twowheelsormore.net/blan...amby-Interview

"TD: You are running two MGs alongside the two Audis for the 2018 season. How did the MGs become available, and what persuaded you to buy them, and were there other cars you considered before settling on the MGs?

SH: The MG operation is a joint venture between Lee Mowle and myself. Lee had sold 888 but it was decided to take back the assets of the 888 race team and relocate them with us. That is a fantastic opportunity for AmD to expand and also great to have Lee and his business expertise to help guide us with the expansion."

It sure will be. I can only think it's a known name who must have an existing contract somewhere to get out of first. (This of course may not be a BTCC contract...)

Lee Mowle could enter the frame as an MG owner/driver.

Not quite, they only really prepared Moffat’s car, it Moffat’s Laser Tools team that ran it. That’s how I see it
