Indeed they do. I wonder if Anyone who partook in the first 5 or 6 revivals still has any involvement with Goodwood, long gone are the days of begging people to build cars to fill a grid.

Yes indeed I have. I was also bombarded with re runs of my crash during the breaks in the Revival coverage.

I believe the reason I wasn't invited this year is because I didn't go to see the race director after that incident. I'd been told to go to the medical office and completely forgot to go upstairs afterwards.

It’s not on the website, so could be that only participants have it at the moment.

The GM Trophy grid has been published. Tiff is driving a Corolla this year. But significantly there are a number of owners who are not driving.

That's odd, I downloaded an entry list last week.

Hope it's right and that the upload works.

Well found!

One Mini Countryman and a Riley Elf in the Mini grid. Good way to stand out in that huge field. (Split, I appreciate )

My old RS2000 got an entry in the GM, which is nice. Jason M driving as well. Will be interesting to see how competitive it is against the two Goodwood-regular flat front Escorts that seem to be rather quick.....

I really could do without the single make rot setting in - doubtless the Minis will dice furiously, but I'd far rather see them mixed up with Galaxies and Cortinas .

I am looking forward to seeing Needell in a TVR V8 , and relishing the opportunity once again to see rare birds like Porsche 910s. Some seriously good drivers in the entry list - proving that the coincidence of a BTCC meeting was more of an irritation than a crisis .

And it cannot and will not be colder than last year ...HSCC this weekend MM the next, I may even stop fretting over Brexit for a time

Rumour has it that the circuit owner had words in high places to make sure that the important date was after the meeting.

That is a joke, of course....

Not to mention a Wolseley Hornet - I have a a bit of a soft spot for the Hornet and the Elf

I was quite surprised to see the Countryman - there are some pictures on Facebook of the build by Owens Fabrication. When I have looked in the past it seemed that most touring car series included a regulation along the lines of "2+2, estate and van models not permitted" - can anyone shed any light upon this? I assume because those models are not "touring cars" per se - obviously in this case Goodwood can choose whichever models they like for their grid, but what about the regular Pre-66 series?

I wonder if there are any period examples of those models racing, surely it has happened in club level events.

I think you surmise correctly, Sam. Probably different in period, or with BTCC type of stuff...
