How GOOD is Craig Lowndes??
Just had a good study of the qualifying times from the GP and was astounded by the brilliant performance of CL. Only 0.687 seconds behind Skaife and using 2 less laps. Then take into account the car he is driving(let's be blunt, it's really a GSR car and we all know how good they have been ) and it's a brilliant performance. Wait till this car is soughted with some Prodrive input
Secondly a mention for the Enforcer. Brand new team(for him), brand new make and brand new car and he is only 0.317 behind Skaife, another sterling performance There might be 3 HRO cars in front but by not as much as I expected.

He looks 7th best to me
Yeah good effort by Lowdes and Ingall. Looking at the pictures on the V8 Supercar sight, coming out of the sweeping left hander under power, the BA's appear to be dragging their bums along the ground like a dog with worms and the fronts are pointing skywards, as opposed to the HRT cars and other Commodores which are very flat. Reminds me of how Skaifey used to set the Gibson Winfield Commodore up all those years ago. |

Have to agree Tricky, great performance by Lowndes. I think you will see the Prodrive cars move along in leaps and bounds as they come to grips with the category.

The year is but a pup but Ingall has done well for Ford. Haven't seen the race because of work but Skaife mustn't have finished.

I settled down to watch the race here in NSW and had the queensland Contingent on the phone. I reckon there was one hell of a party underway in Toowoomba (and in a certain Solicitors Office in Brisbane City), when I told them firstly of Hrt 2's mishap and then the Demise of HRT 1.
