Is that here?:-

What time is sign-on? I can't promise to go, but my turn up unnanounced.

What is involved in a "sporting car trial?" I've never done one before. Would I need anything other than typical track marshaling gear?

Probans will keep you warm but you may get dirty, as they have more fun on mud.
They are normally held in disused quarries etc so good boots are important.
If it's handy to you go for it you will have a good day.
Not the norm for on site catering so take you sarnies.

Location is correct, it is also a motocross track, so it will be muddy. Sign on 09:30 -10:00, event starts at 10:30. No catering facilities on site, but there is a toilet block. Marshalling involves making sure cars do not hit marker posts and marking how far they get up the hill. Ask for Lyn Jones on site. At the end of the day, many competitors retire to the local pub

I enjoyed the day, first time at trails, an interesting sport with very nice people. All drivers thanked the marshals for their time. Will do this again. Thanks all
