That Mazda was one of the loudest things I've ever heard in person. I wonder if any of the drivers can still hear!

Volker Weidler actually suffered severe hearing loss a couple of years after the Le Mans win in the Mazda, after driving one of his night stints without earplugs.

I thought that he also had inner ear problems (also caused by the cockpit noise that the rotory engine made) that caused balance issues that lead to him retiring from competitive racing?

Audi R10 in there, some Ferrari 458 challenge cars amongst the odd single seater - and, despite the sound quality, one of the better video demonstrations of just how noisy the Porsche 996 used to be!

Seemed like it attracted a decent local crowd - not sure of many events like this in that region!? Nice to see such cars going to relatively new environments and getting some good crowds.

Nice vid Bob. That 996 made everything else sound like the Audi in comparison . I was under the impression that Motorsport in Israel was banned.
