Do you have a source for that? It sounded like rehomolgation was Multimatic's stance not just the joker update. But neither the ACO/IMSA or the team have been talking much, as I would expect.

The 'Joker' is still a 're-homologation', with the depth and breadth of it being set by the ACO.
There are no independent re-homologations by the 4 chosen constructors, as by rule the cars are locked in for a four year cycle after the original homologation, except for the aforementioned 'Joker'. As has already been stated, the extent of work allowed on the R/M Mk.30 - RT24-P is still a mystery since no one with specific knowledge has spoken up yet. L.P. |

I have no source, it's just the best I can recall. Regardless, rehomologation does not require changes to the tub. Never has, never will.

I've read that visit florida drivers complained about the tub lack of stiffness.
If the tub will be the same of last year, well... they simply can't fix this. Engine isn't the state of art either.... good luck to them. |

That said, the complaints as I read them were about the chassis overall, not solely the tub. So there are two other possible fixes that I can htink which don't even require that much. 1: While the tub is the biggest part of the chassis on modern LMPs, yes, but it's not the entire thing - the engines are only semi-stressed, not fully stressed, which means there is a dedicated section of chassis framework in the rear. The lack of stiffness could be inherent to this part. 2: Despite the statements, chassis stiffness might not actually be the problem. If the suspension design is poor enough, it make the car FEEL like the chassis isn't stiff enough - which would compound the problems of trying to figure the car out since it would point you in the wrong direction. Joest is smart enough to be able to figure out if the latter is the case. That they've been focused mainly on suspension tells me that even if there IS a problem with the chassis stiffness, it's not something severe enough to prioritize over problems with the suspension. After all, a chassis that's not quite stiff enough isn't necessarily going to be a great harm to performance. But a bad suspension design is almost guaranteed to be so. |

Okay, the new livery is a bit of a let down if I am perfectly honest (If that is infact the new livery). Still, RT24 looks as stunning as ever.
The only changes that I can spot is the color of the BHF, and perhaps a bit more black at the rear tail light structure? Other than that, the casual fan wouldn't have noticed a change at all. |

Sadly they didn't kept the chromed rims used on the Daytona test.
I don't know...the car on the images have the exhaust on the side, while the real car have the exhaust at top since months ago. |

Just leave it as is in the photos. I don't need any swoopy line stickers, thank you.

There's actually a fair bit of subtle changes that add up to a lot.
Back to Mazda red Window banner back to red. White blend removed from the engine intake End plate insides black End plate outsides black White swoop removed from the side Overall it's just cleaner. The old car felt like an amazing concept that someone went "LOL STICKERZ" and kinda ruined it a bit. I assume more stickers will make their way to the new car, but this base with the clean fin and no swoop is much much nicer. |
