i have no problems starting my gas-powered equipment......
Advertising for Road Atlanta mentions the Viper specifically I notice. No big shocks there. And yes tux, the US as a country haven't got the hang of safety cars, it's a feature of racing Stateside as much as presenters with fake smiles explaining really simple things to us. Once it's out, no-one wants to be disadvantaged by some being able to make a pitstop, so it stays out for a long time and has all sorts of wave-bys and patterns. Bad news for Pickett! |

The bad news is that they're down 4 laps to Chris Dyson.
The good news is that it's Chris Dyson. The bad news is that at some point, it's going to be Guy Smith... |

O'Connell!?!? What happened to Hindaugh and Shaw? I'm seeing huge things happen on track and they're telling me about the classes.
Edit: it sounds like we're listening to the ESPN2 coverage. F |

Looks like Atherton and company couldn't afford a 3 hour timeslot on ESPN2. |

Amatuer le mans series at its finest again. They're running the edited and tape delayed audio coverage over the live footage on the ESPN3/ALMS feed now.

We've been doing this streaming thing for a while now guys. You should have it down pretty good by now. Plug stuff in, point the cameras at the cars. Don't mess with it. It amazes me how large ESPN is and they botch something like this. Did the ESPN3 crew just say screw it I'm going home and patch into ESPN2?

If this ESPN2 broadcast was meant to attract new fans to the series, it's done exactly the opposite. BMW 56 off, 25 hits the wall while ESPN2 is showing the "AMAZING" dominant performance by Dyson Racing.

Idiots saying the damaged 20 car which is clearly marked is the leading 16. Not showing the 55 in trouble.

Fair enough. At least they dropped the World Class slogan.

For anyone interested. ESP2 i showing the race live...Its nt a tape delayed docudrama. Its live! I think ESPN2(on your Television) has been showing the race since 2:45. I switched it on at 4pm after the ESPN3 audio went kaputt. And they had 1:42 left. They didnt show any of the early part which leads to me to believe its been live the entire time on ESPN2.

assuming we're getting the ESPN2 commentary, they must have had catch up 'segments' I'm guessing, in the way that Eurosport joins cycling live, tells you where they are, but then shows highlights of earlier in the day.
