does anyone watch it? I like it cause you get to see the best drivers in the world race each other, and usually very good racing. Its like the Olympics of Motorsport.

Not really. Olympics might only be contested in those special huge events in widely spaced intervals, but the sports themselves all have world championships and world cups which are contested for full seasons and you can cheer for the athletes all year and the events themselves don't drastically change formats.

This (I assume you mean the Race of Champions event, you didn't actually make it clear) is a novelty event using vehicles used only for this event. It has more in common with that Rexona Greatest Athlete competition they run at a North Queensland resort in the summer the last few years.

yeah thats the one, even though it's not serious its still fun to watch and looking forward to how they go. actually the Greatest Athlete is not run in NQ, but around South East Queensland area.
