My idea about "graduation" from the BTCP grid.

Why don't BMP set up a prize fund for the prodution class, where by the top team (or 2) by the end of the season gets a cash payment to fund the team for next year, but in BTCT instead of the BTCP field.
They could award them X amount of cash in order to 'turn' their production car into a touring car, upgrading all the mechanical gibbins like gearbox, engine etc.

Yeah, but in principal its an excellent idea. But of course that would cause resentment from the already curent private BTCT teams (e.g. ABG, JSM). However, i think plenty of BTCP teams will make the jump next year anyway, like Barwell (already seen the plans) and GA-Janspeed.
