When people are buying an "emotion" car, something like V8, V10 or V12 is very important. Even if the whizz bang V6 hybrid is faster and more economical.
Logic does not always apply when you talk cars rich people buy.
I am not denying that technology will see small engines in flash cars, I am saying however big many cylinder engines will not die as fast as being implied.
