I know for an absolute fact that there is no family connection between Ron Dennis and Lewis. There is however a great deal of respect and genuine affection that has built up over the years - and yes Ron does exhibit something close to fatherly pride when speaking about Lewis, but that is only natural under the circumstances.

Ron seems to take a certain fatherly involvement in a lot of his drivers, perhaps as he has no children of his own. He seems well-placed to offer them positive guidance.

This is indeed correct.

Furthermore, the son, Stefan Dennis, has done very well for himself, playing 'Paul Robinson' in Australian soap 'Neighbours', as well as some pantomime work in the UK, and a brief and barren stint driving for the Stewart/Ford/Jaguar Formula One team a few years back.

According to IMDB, Wikipedia et. al, Stefan was born in '58 and Ron in '47?
