Yes they enter Independant Trophy.
I think only a small part of the team is Dutch (Coronel and some money from the Dutch SEAT importer Pon). Probably they choose for Makela because he has €. On the official entrylist for Monza de cars are entered as GR Asia.

I wonder how much support can a factory/importer give and still be considered an independent? Is it fair to everyone else? OTOH, who said racing is fair??

I heard that GR Asia's title sponsor of previous year, The Noble Group, has left the team.

Fiawtcc.com entry list says Adam Lacko will drive a IEP Team 156 but http://www.elghmotorsport.com/ tells that he'll drive Carl Rosenblads last years BMW.

He will drive the IEP - Alfa 156 only in Monza; then he will be Rosenblad's team mate in the BMW

I can safely say I've never seen a livery as striking as that!

Very nice and up to date.

Hmmm, the liveries are definitely different. But unfortunately, it doesn't do it for me. The paint scheme reminds me of traditional Japanese opera/samurai paint schemes??

Italian Sportautomoto reported that in Magny Cours there could be two RS Line Focus, with Diefenbacher and Sascha Ploderl as drivers...which Focus will be faster, the old one, or the new one?

There is also a picture of the new Peugeot 407 S2000, and it looks very very good

It's confirmed:
RS-Line will enter 2 cars at Magny-Cours and will race in the rest of the season, see: http://www.fiawtcc.com/2k5/readnews.asp?id=547

Yippee, two more cars to a grid that really doesn't need more cars!

(Someone tell RS-Line they've got a chance at some regular top 12 finishes in the BTCC!)

So which sponsor made it possible for RS Line to now race in the WTCC?

Maybe they have a sponsor for DPM, but this German championship is in trouble so they decided to do WTCC.

Tee hee, thought the BTCC was in trouble...DPM's only got a 6 car entry list for the first round. (Considering the BTCC site was pretending it had 20 cars for Donington...hmmm).

I'm sounding cruel, I'd hate to see this championship go squareways too.

I take it the MG's run by 'Maurer Motorsport' are the other two old WSR machines?

Difference with Brittain is Germany has another major touring car championship.

I'm only reading off this thing:
http://www.top10sport.de/

Since I don't speak German, I guess it could be 'cars not running', but what do I know?

I notice DSF isn't showing this? (at least not this weekend)...is any other channel carrying it do you know?
