j_t_8_8_8 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
WTCC - Imola

Sportautomoto reported that the Peugeot 407 will not be run at Imola...it will be run instead at Spa, and the driver could be Ayari or Helary

What team will be running the car? How many starts are planned for this season?

Giovanardi fastest in first practice, followed by Rydell and Farfus. Priaulx well down the order. Full results here.

Giovanardi got pole position, then Garcia, Gené, Farfus, Tarquini, Priaulx and COLCIAGO in seventh place...I'm really happy for this...

Colciago is doing very well in the Honda .. too bad he's not am independent . .
we have Alfa 1,4,5,10 . Seat 3,8,11 BMW 2,6,9 .. clearyle an Alfa track ..
and Giovanardi .. without balast .. is much faster than anybody else .

Nope...clearly the FWD cars have too much of an advantage in weight then.

I'd be surprised to see them still running 20kg lighter by the next race.

There are 4 Seat's...Plato's lack of track experience perhaps working against him.

well . the fastest cars were the cars with few Kg handicap ..

it's too early to say . there is a big advantage Giovanardi has over Priaulx for example . 35kilos ..

He was third quickest in 2nd practise (quickest of the SEATs), and hit during qualifying.

The Muller's seem to be really struggling, Gracia and Priaulx are doing good with weight yet they are not.

well we do have 3 different cars on the first 3 places . so i say it's quite equal . all of them have low ballast weight ..
if it was Tarquini with 55 . on pole.. then i would ask questions ..
well see how its gonna be ..

Really interesting to see three different cars on top-three.
I am impressed with JAS Hondas, if Honda would put money...

utterly, utterly disgracefuly. how much longer do we have to put up with that kind of driving from him? He lost 1 position from that move, compared to if he raced fairly and stayed behind Alex. The guy needs punnishing before he hurts someone...
