OK thought i would start this off, in exactly 2 weeks i will be back there for the Classic, camping in blue nord this time and taking the little car (blue MR2 roadster) going down with a green stag and a blue slk this year.

As always, I'd love to do it again, but having it so close to the main event makes it completely impossible for me, both financially and work-wise.

There's a few 'historic' tenthers racing as well, some more historic than others.....

Nearer the event I'll try and list who's in what, as would be good to say Hi to any other forum members! Think most of us will be staying in Houx- under canvas, in van or camper. Arriving Wednesday to join the queue.........

Having seen Glastonbury on telly after all the rain, just hoping that Houx has recovered from the 24 so I don't need wellies everywhere!

No crisis, shares and currency fluctuations but nothing exciting, most cost already incurred only petrol and food/drink to buy. political parties in the uk are having internal brawls but in reality not much different today from last week.

Been doing that after the main meet for the last few years, always some stuff left and we divide it up so that it is not just thrown away. Will post something about mini meet at classic soon.

The Daytona Classic 24 was a fantastic event and will alternate
years with this event. If anyone has any streaming or timing links
during the weekend, please post. Even a youtube clip would be
appreciated.

It's a return to the original timetable of LMC, with the first grid ("plateau 1") for the beginning, then grid 2, grid 3 etc. etc.

Last time, they started by grid 3 or 4, at 17 hours (a little late...).

I prefer when the chronologic order of periods is respected

Would be nice to meet up with other forum members during the event, but looking at the race schedule, not sure it's possible!

I've gone through the entry list, and although the following isn't definitive (apologies if I've missed anyone), these are the (entered) cars owned by / being driven by / with links to 'Tenthers'.......

Plateau 1
#28 Talbot 105
#46 Talbot 105
#47 Bentley 4 1/2 litre

Plateau 2
#46 Porsche 356 Pre A
#52 Lancia Aurelia
#55 Cadillac

Plateau 3
#28 Porsche 356 A GT Speedster
#51 Lotus Elite
#57 Porsche 356 A Speedster

Plateau 6
#51 BMW CSL

Gents - first time back on this site since the 24.
Re the Classic, my boss is going down (not me) - do you know if there are any special ACO member areas like for the 24?

yes the area by the dunlop is there again and obviously the aco building on the main straight, but you need a grandstand seat in the aco stand to watch the race from there. he will need to register on arrival and get a wrist band.
