There is also a saftey thing here, what if the driver is light, do you put lead weight in....I'd think twice before having an accident with him if he was filled with lead

Not voting as I don't compete any more, but didn't Formula E run with a 500kg combined limit at one time? Diz?

It did Seamas. In some quarters it was referred to as 'Formula Fatty'.

You can't carry pies around in a race car. If you have a bump, you'll get covered in gravy........LOL

Just had a thought. Could all the spillages from Hackett's Hawke be gravy and not oil?

JEB has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
The BRDC races (WHT and Jim Walsh Trophy) would have stayed at 420kg whatever the outcome was - so from our point of view this is the best result.

Let's just get on and race Formula Fords !

i have the perfect idea, all the "tubby" drivers who are obviously put at disadvantage by not being light (and as such get beaten by the lighter drivers) should have a ginsters pasty (bagged obviously keep the wasps away) placed on a fishing rod stuck out the front of the car ala carrot on a stick, lets see who wins then...

the only problem then is that you'd have to contend with my dad acting as a mobile chicane trying to grab the pasty from a moving car
