Why Don't You Enter In Good Time?

It never ceases to amaze me that you racing drivers don't want to put your race entries in before the closing date - or at least by closing date. You surely must plan which meetings you intend to compete in. Taking NW FF1600 as an example, the final round is two weeks away and will probably have 40 - 50 entries, but at present only has 21.

As you must all know, you get a full refund if you pull out by the middle of the preceding week.

Problems encountered at the day before's test day is another matter, where 'customer service' should allow for a transfer of fee to a future meeting - but that's a different kettle of fish.

So what reasons do you have for being so poor at the paperwork side of your sport? I'd be interested to hear.

I sent a bunch of post dated cheques at the start of the season...it saved filling an entry in every time. An even better way would to give a decent discount to those who enter this way...

heel'n'toe-no has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Anybody know if there is a Van Diemen RF90 or 91 (ish) seat available for the last round..... At the right money? and perhaps I could put a late entry in too.

Also I'm cosidering maybe purchasing a VD RF90+....anyone?

I know where to get most of the bits to make a brand new RF92, starting with the chassis I have in my workshop and the 7/8ths of an engine my dad is building

And the benefit of paying early is......?

The discount. What discount? Oh, sorry, there isn't any.
