TGF Breaks Fiorano record ..... AGAIN
Michael Schumacher has broken the Fiorano track record for the second time since Sunday in the new F2002. The new record of 58.378s beats the 58.620s lap he set on Sunday in his first run in the new Ferrari. As the record before Sunday was something like 59.5s, that means he has lowerd the record by 1.2s !!!!!
Also, on Monday he said he was 99 per cent certain that Ferrari would take the new chassis to Melbourne rather than last years F2001. Here we go again, What are the chances of a fifth title for TGF now? |

does anybody know how many laps he completed??? it's one thing to break the lap record, but if he broke down on the very next lap (please say he did!!!) then there's not much point in being fast!
much like the FW23 i suppose though! |

TGF breaking the lap at Fiorano is no longer news. He's been around there that many times that each new car should break the record no matter who's driving the bloody car.

Is the new engine/gearbox combo being used? I have read reports both ways, but I assume they are. I have also read that this new technology has radically changed the total weight, weight distribution, center of gravity, etc. etc. of the Ferrari, allowing them to put ballast wherever it helps the most. I hope this doesn't lead to Ferrari domination this year. |

M Webber 500/1
A Yoong 500/1 it's pretty obvious to me that these drivers are not in the same league, but why do they have the same ods?? Yoong 1000/1 I.M.H.O. |

Every new Ferrari breaks the Fiorano track record!!
Just look thru old Autosports etc. Even the dual floor car with Ivan Capelli broke the record in 92! |

Boring, anybody say? Not!
Although testing doesn't mean the season's won or lost, but to have the 3 top teams breaking lap records by quite impressive margins at 3 different locations make things more interesting as we head into the first race of the season. As i've said...i want to see high level competition, where everybody is stretching their abilities to give the best racing. And they are giving us just that.. |

Where did you get that weird info from? The previous lap record was 58.792 set with the F2001, so his first F2002 lap was one-and-a-half tenths, and the second little over four tenths quicker. The record before that was within one tenth quicker. And before that .. and before that .. It's easier comparing, say, Rosenmeyer and Bellof, than judging anything from Fiorano's PR-records. |
