There are no plans to sell the new MG6 in the UK, in sure these days the e car has to be available in the UK market as regs. State:

Base vehicle must be freely on sale in the UK through the manufacturer’s normal dealer network at time of homologation

It seems quite clear from the AMD press release the existing cars have been sold on so if MG's are on the grid they will be the ones you know and love.
Tho are MG's really that important to the series?

Off topic, the Jordans have bought back AJ's 2013 championship winning Honda, which is in kit form, as a project for the JRT Collection.

It seems that BMR Racing have staved off the latest compulsory strike off attempt.

So maybe Subaru's will be on the grid in '19

The accounts are still overdue by 7 months.

That's twice, HMRC will come back at them for a third time if they don't pull the finger out. This is simply filing the accounts, not paying any tax bill, so I struggle to understand why this situation exists.

As said its not being sold over here another mistake by MG. It seems a far better proposition than the first incarnation of the 6. Now they have 3 models currently on sale here a 4th would really help not everyone wants a small car or an SUV. Although the GS won't be around much longer given the HS will probably be its replacement within a year or so maybe.
