WRX won't be televised this season by Swedish and Norwegian state television so Youtube and Facebook is exclusively where to watch it now. Is WRX broadcasted on any British channel?

Yes it was used to fill up an hour on Saturday morning's on C4. We'll see if they do the same again, if they will make room in their schedules again

I think in 2017 they had the live show on Quest, although sometimes it was delayed. Last year it was on Freesports, which in theory is a Freeview channel but isn't actually available for a good chunk of the country (at least it's not available in Devon).
http://www.fiaworldrallycross.com/ar...dcast-world-rx I've taken to watching it all on Youtube anyway, I think towards the second half of the season it wasn't even geoblocked. |

So basically almost all A finalists are gone. I really hope they can combine ERX with WRX in all European rounds (I mean separate next each other), this is to little to travel for...

That’s the next best thing certainly wouldn’t travel to a round of WRX if it didn’t have ERC

Makes me wonder if rights to broadcast WRX is actually sought after, although I doubt it considering you can watch it on Youtube and Facebook.

Quite a surprise that. Was expecting about 20. We know some have gone to Nordic RX. Maybe GRC Europe has attracted some too.

The worst part of this is that the tracks might suffer with numbers even at ERX rounds. And therefore gate money,l the only way they make anything will be well down
I do hope IMG have been fair with the hosting fees, as charging the same for a lesser series is wrong. |

Regarding the low entries, this was added in press release; "Additionally, there are a number of drivers who have already lodged round-by-round entries for various events." http://www.fiaworldrallycross.com/ar...lists-revealed |

Interesting to see Mike Manning on that list - I wasn't expecting that. No sign of Proctor, O'Donovan or the Albatec cars - I thought they might have been on that list (although they could be doing selected rounds I suppose).

Same as you Bert, I'm surprised by the names missing from the UK. Tho I did speak to a few of the Albatec lads at ASI and was told both of their cars had been put up for sale, with the older of their 208's being sold. The newer of their cars, while they wouldn't say exactly how much, sum were around the 300K mark was what they were looking for it.

They where in the shadow of the big boys... They go to RX Nordic or GRC wich seems to be the better choise. And if you look at the names... only a few well known drivers. Hope they have some local challengers each event. |

Maybe they are offered a better deal elsewhere, from what I hear IMG were bleeding the ERX guys dry financially, with very little in return.
Some can only take that for so long. I sincerely believe a lot of teams, drivers etc are simply taking stock and not committing to anything because of what has happened in the past few months. And why not. |

I'm a big fan of Coley. He's a bit shouty but he's knowledgeable and enthusiastic. I tend to think that his passion for the sport shines through and if someone is enjoying what they do then I think they're better to listen to.
I think GRC is the place to go for anyone that previously entered Euro RX. More affordable and old school tracks should better suit most of the entrants. They need more of a support package though. Track action is one of the best parts of rallycross, and one of the negatives from recent years in World RX. In 2014 at Lydden there were 50 races on the Saturday, it was really full on, last season events had much more down time and waiting around for TV slots to be hit. |

2014 was great! The last time I visit Lydden. Then came the "just enough entries for finals" years with all coverage going to VW, Audi, Ford and Peugeot, which sort of are gone now. Now the backup brigade is all of a sudden good enough for a main role...

Coley is especially funny when he tried to talk about old stuff, he goes up to about 2005!
Anything beyind that! Not his fault. but any shouty commentators leave me cold, Croft in particular. The thing that turned me off Coley was him being touted the so called "voice of rallycross" anyone with any decency would have told whoever came up with that nonsense to stick it where the sun don;t shine. there will only ever be none. |
