Regarding P2 engine options Lola seem to be hinting engine manufactuers will offer support which has to be good for the reliability of the cars.

Hmm, I see nothing to indicate that. Only that these engines are expected to be offered as lumps for P-2. As to how/or if they will be supported, or not, is still yet to be revealed!

Charsley believes the GT2 class will provide a template for the business model for the prototype category.

"I think it will be very much like the GT cars where a number of OEM's are supporting teams to a degree," Charsley said. "I think the P2-type cars will attract similar support and the engine base is pretty much the same so an OEM can support a product in GT and LMP2 with the same base."
