Seems to be:

Clubbies at Brands (inc Radicals and FFords), Rockingham (Minis, Fiestas, Ford Saloons) and GTs/F3s at Thruxton.

For the non-Brits, there's IRL, CART, DTM, ALMS or Aussie V8s.

Where's everyone gonna be this weekend?

Got the BARC Classic at Silverstone on saturday (FF2000, All sorts of classic touring cars, modified prods, formula junior). Looking forward to it as it looks like there's going to be decent grids.

2CV's at Silverstone as part of the BARC thing. Mighty Mini's at Rockingham both days (this is where I need a clone so that I can go to both!).

The Mighty's are only on the Saturday, the Sunday is a 5 hour VW Bettle Team race (oh and a sports car race after).

For a good get to Oulton.
Last time the Caterham Grads & Legends were out was at Anglesey a fortnight ago, and if you read the comments on the marshals forum (Legends festival & Caterham parts) you will find that a good time was had by all.
Don't be affraid to come and join the guys & girls in orange you will be made more than welcome

Woodyracing, the timetable is listed here....

http://www.rockingham.co.uk/events_t...EventNumber=10

I'll probable go to Silverstone for the BARC meeting for the Saturday, and had planned to go to Brands Hatch for the Sunday but was put off by the thought of 54 laps worth of Radicals & Sports 2K. Anyone got the Timetable for Snetterton's MGOC meeting instead!

Plenty of us around - half-a-dozen or so marshals.

Suzy, where did you go, Silversone or the Rock?

Managed to watch 2CVs yesterday, 4 abreast into the complex, slipstreaming, doorhandling, everything you could wish for in a motor race. Absolutely superb.

Well, the scene was set at Rockingham, when Steve Dawson set up a photo finish at the line with Dave Young, who'd led the Super Mighty race - 1st race of the day - from the start, eventually getting the nod by 19/1000ths of a second!

The first Mighty Mini race was equally eventful! Chris had qualified 11th - not bad for the first visit to the Rock for 2 years, and with no testing. Just a shame he started the race in neutral really...! He was flat last by the first corner.... but 10th by halfway round the lap He eventually finished 9th - his highest ever!

So ... on to race 2, which was won by Declan McDonnell from last place on the grid! Chris started 9th of course, and became involved in a 6 car battle for 7th place downwards. He eventually finished 12th, 1/1000th of a sec behind 11th place, and a further 3/10ths off 10th - the 3-way photo finish at the line was something to behold!

Final "balls of steel" award goes to Gary Patterson in the Super Mighties for completing the first lap with his bonnet completely covering his windscreen
