Sid Watkins
I have just received a note to say that someone has replied to my posting about Sid Watins being given a knighthood.
When I click on the hyperlink I am told that I am not allowed to see the reply! When I look for the thread on the site it is not there! What is going on? |

As a surgeon myself I would support this campaign. However having looked critically at Sid's research record I would slightly alter the basis - I think his work on safety systems and accident trauma is the real point. His research is of the highest degree and warrants recognition.

John, I PM'd the thread starter to explain, but as Chezza says, there were previous problems in a very similar thread elsewhere, not least with the actual link. Consequently the thread was pulled, sorry.
thepits!, equally sorry but your link has to be removed for the same reasons. (Hint, the address was in Autosport if you want it, or you could look up Sid Watkins in a search engine - I am quite in favour of the good doctor being honoured, we just can't have the link on here due to forum rules.
