GRID Demo Mini league (Xbox 360)
A little idea for y'all. The GRID demo will be a multiplayer demo, so to celebrate I say we have a mini league night in the tourers and the muscle cars. It all depends on the day it is realesed, then we can start orginising. I also might be saving up my pennies for the full game, so a ten tenths GRID league could be on the cards too, it all depends on how the demo night goes.

Demo looks great, have done both the 320si and Mustang GT-R and it is gonna be worth the money.

Been playing it and its quality, great fun. Massive pile up in a Twelve player room though. I got a great start from second, then everyone else behind bottlenecked into the first chicane, 10 cars wrecked! I also had to take avoiding action in another race at the same corner as the leader hit the second place driver knocking him into the tyres while third place spun to avoid him. easy first place for me

My 2p:
Graphics - amazing, damage is very well done as well. Physics - playing with all the driver aids off, the brakes will lock up properly and when you hit the throttle too quickly exiting a corner the back end will step out nicely. However, the rest of the handling is very floaty and arcadey. Nowhere near the perfect balance of realism and playability of RD3 and DiRT. |

I agree the handling is very floaty its a bit like Sega Rally, that's also very floaty. It's good fun though and they seem to have pulled off the drifting pretty well. You can defintly sense the DiRT engine in the driving handling though.

yes, it did remind me of Sega Rally int he switchback hairpins at Jarama. |

Just downloaded the PC demo, playing with a 360 controller. there's no precision in the steering, goes from lock to lock if I so much as breathe on the thumbstick! And it keeps calling me Spanky!! (although my housemate may have something to do with that!)

Sorry guys, but this is possibly the worst Racing game I have played in 10 years.
While visually stunning (graphics are incredible), the game play is horrid. I think I could blind fold myself, steer randomly and still get on the podiam.

Its not as good as Forza for realism, but it is fun.
