Is the SEMSEC a Sprint then Race? If so can you do only the race part?

I have just signed up for both days. It should be a good mixed weekend with a lot less stand down time than last weekend

If it's like last year, it's a sprint in the morning with racing in the afternoon and they need the marshals for both. The sprinting is a bit like a more regulated qualifying session and you may see some unusual cars. There was a Rolls in the sprints last year.

I can't make it this year (I'm there on Sunday) but if you haven't done a sprint before it's worth seeing how they differe from racing and SEMSEC do look after the marshals well.

There on Sunday, looking forward to what should be a very good day's racing, hopefully without the monster shunts that spoiled the Mallory meeting a while back. Haven't been to Brands for ages, looking forward to getting back there and reacquanting myself with the Hailwoods breakfast!

After yesterday, I think a race with Mini's and Hillman Imps should be compulsary at all race meetings. Best race I've seen this year.
