# 3 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
DMN Brands March 28

I'm keen to know who's going to be at the first race of the season, so if anyone else wants to add their name, car, cc, class, expect to race/race entry posted it could help pass the time until we are back on track.

Ash Hargreaves, Peugeot 306, 1998cc supercharged, Class B, expect to race

pugracer2 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Alex Ferguson, Peugeot 205 gti, 1756cc, class E, number 35. Entries off in the post tomorrow, car hopefully ready in a couple of weeks.
I've done Castle Combe saloons in the past but the pug (not me) is over the age limit so a few mods and tweaks and slicks and things are being done which weren't allowed in Combe Saloons.
I did the DMN races at combe a few years ago and loved the atmosphere so here I am (car willing) for a full season.
Hope to meet you all at brands.

Simon Owen (betcha couldnt work that out from the username) will be at druids, then in the paddock at lunchtime poking around the cars generally getting in the way while you guys attempt to work on them

Should also have a mate and a dad in tow.

Really looking forward to this, as it is pretty much what i had in mind for that saloon festival thingy. Mind some pesky single seaters do appear to have crept onto the bill.....

See you all soon (O/T Jon you doing the Britcar round the sat before?)

joss Ronchetti should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Hi guys I received aknowledgement of my entries for the 1st 3 rounds of the championship, but, and heres the bit I don't get, they are not guarenteed entries into the race yet???
I am registered for the championship and sent in my entries for the first 3 rounds as soon as enteries open and thought I am sure of a place as you have received it well before you are full???
I understand towards the end of the season that guys who have done more rounds would get preference if the entries arrived on the same day, but at the start of the season surely 1st come, 1st served or am I missing something here??
In all my years racing I have never heard of such a thing??
Do you have an elite 'jury' to decide who they fancy racing?
I must surely have it wrong and misunderstood??
Please put my mind at rest guys it surely does not mean that??

It's normally first come first served as last year proved, unless of course they have changed it.

Same here Joss, entered all 9 and 1 intermarque but on bottom of email it states.......''This acknowledgement should not be taken as acceptance of your entries.''
With all the news of new cars and drivers coming over i thought getting everything in quick sort of guaranteed your spot?? Guess there is some explanation and we are just missing something!!!!!

Copperbottom has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Don't worry it's probably just a standard email that covers all eventualities.

thats exactly it, the email is just the club confirming that it has recieved your entry nothing more nothing less.

the first 3 rounds will have grid slot allocated on a first come first served basis, therafter there is a selection process if entries are over subscribed.

in all cases your have a slot on the grid will be confirmed once entries close

Sorry to hear of your big end problem Eric, that was what put me out last year.

Cheers Dave, I hear that you and Richard ran impressive times at BH yesterday! I have a long way to go...
