Speedy King, they will be showing 3 Stars of Tomorrow races starting with November 23rd on Speed TV in the US (go to our TVRacer.com site) but I can't say about the timing over there.

mrinvader, the next STARS race is on this Sunday. Check TVRacer.com for the schedule.

You wouldn't by any chance live in N. California?

Tom

Thanks, I just wish we got the CIK races here in the states. I want to see some of the races. I used to live in NORCAL but now I live in Georgia. I ran for INVADER a few years back and just never changes my username.

congrats Mark Fell winning that however

I agree, i think rotax, TKM or gearbox would make better tv (i'll get prepared to be slaughtered!)

i aint gona dis ya

fingers crossed the TKM numbers pick up here 2004.. rotaxs seem very popular.. but i quite like watching Formula A (ok i like to heard them ).

gearboxes are good, but i think long circuit is better to watch... junior box racers look the part on the short circuits, those things are flyin machines!

Don't worry, we ain't gonna slaughter you SK You're quite right, they do make better TV than Prokarts. At least you included TKM in that wee list, but clearly SoT (Sods on Television ) don't think so, otherwise they would have included it in their all-marketing-PR-orientated schedule (by now you may have have guessed that I don't like this series )

Are you sure about this Lakeside event being broadcast, though? Perhaps it's only in your local area or something, because I can't see anyone else really taking an interest. If it's at Lakeside then it's not even an official event, probably charity karting or something. Do you know what it is exactly?

It's the final round of their Endurance owner/driver series which is (apparently) one of the most popular in Britian. The programme will be part of a series or programmes on C4 named, ........rivals (sounds familiar to an ITV programme....)

___________________________________________________

"Karting enthusiasts will be delighted to see their favourite sport highlighted when Channel 4 film the last round of the Prokart Championship live from Lakeside Karting, Thurrock on Sunday, 14th December. Director of Lakeside Karting, Mr Giles Murray, said: "The Lakeside Prokart Championship is one of the South of England's premier endurance series and features prominently in the national karting press and national press. We are delighted that the excitement of this event will be captured on film and broadcast on Channel Four in the New Year as part of a series of programmes with the theme 'Rivals'. The last round of this season's owner/driver championship is very close and the TV production team are very keen to record the exploits of the top two teams, namely Teamtec and FAB Kartsport.

Gates open at 7.30am for this event and drivers should sign on from 8am. Practice starts at 10am with the 3 hour event starting at 11am. More information is available by telephone to 01708 863070 or at www.lakeside-karting.co.uk"
