What problem did Barrichello have with his car in Brazil last year? I think the team said it was fuel pressure but some rekon that Barrichello forgot to come in to refuel - embarassing or what?
 The most recent example of a leader losing a race on the last lap was Hakkinen in Spain in 2001 - I think it was engine failure though. Last edited by Yoong Montoya; 16 Mar 2004 at 22:15. |

I know there have also been race winners who ran out of fuel on the cool down lap - unable to make it to the garage area.

Reutemann never won in Argentina, the closest that he was, he ran out of fuel a couple of laps before, when he was leading with a lot of advantage.
