Hi, folks! Welcome back to round 7 of the 2015 Bet 'Em IndyContest. The Belle Isle of Detroit will host the only doubleheader of the season, which means double the carnage.

As usual, you must place a single set of bets, which is used for both races.

You must pick five different drivers and a manufacturer:

o- Premium - 2x money.
o- Regular - 1x money.
o- Alternative - 1x money; no 10-to-1 drivers or under.
o- Fresh - 0.25x money; rookies only.
o- Belt Challenge ($ 200) - Montoya or Castroneves.
o- Manufacturer ($ 200) -

The regular money scale is:

o- 1st - $ 1000
o- 2nd - $ 600
o- 3rd - $ 400
o- 4th - $ 300
o- 5th - $ 200
o- 6-10th - $ 100

The stakes for Detroit are:

o- 3 to 1: Power, Castroneves, Montoya, Dixon.
o- 6 to 1: Pagenaud, Kanaan, Hunter-Reay.
o- 10 to 1: Bourdais, Rahal, Wilson?
o- 20 to 1: Filippi, Kimball, Andretti, Newgarden, Muñoz, Hinchcliffe.
o- 40 to 1: De Silvestro?, Chaves (R), Coletti (R).

I have no idea who will drive, so please check that your picked drivers actually get a seat.

If you post your bets after the start of qualifying, you will only get half the earnings. If there's a tie between betters, the earlier better wins the tiebreaker. Good luck!

Well, call me rather surprised to come out as 3rd in the standings after the outcome of this race weekend. After the Saturday race, things looked rather dim, but it was already time for dawn, so maybe this was inevitable. To me, the biggest risk I took with these bets was not enlisting any Team Penske driver in the "regular" category: Team Rahal had always been good at Detroit in the past few years and Daly had shined brightly in his prior street circuit start in a worse car.
